I am not into politics and I am not a member of any party, but for the first time I am thinking maybe the NDP (National Democratic Party of Egypt) is on the right track.  I have read the attached article about removing religion totally from the Egyptian ID and thought maybe they are on the right track.

With all the economic, social and cultural changes, it is about time that we rise above all our differences and think of our country as one unit regardless of each one’s personal belief.  Egypt is not made of Muslims and Christians only but there are jews, Bahais, Shiaa and secular beings, but all these beings make the Unity of Egypt each in his capacity and his place.

I really don’t like to be involved in Politics, but when it comes to our safety, security and unity, then it maybe the time we stand and back our NDP even if we are not members and/ or we are members of other political parties; WHY?? Because whether we like it or not, they are responsible for the approved laws in the People’s assembly.

If we love Egypt, and in these difficult times, we must unit for the safety, and security of its people.  Our most serious threat now is religious sensitivity so we have to tread very carefully and smoothly to make sure that we separate religion from politics to be able to make our country develop and move forward.

There are risks to be taken, but the compensation will be sweet and prevail to reach all Egyptians. Wisdom is a gold mine that will help us against a very tough current taking us backwards.
