Why are the looks so important? Media is spending hours and hours talking about looks, makeover, and makeup fashions.  It is true that fashion have always been a multi-million dollars industry, but only because we want it to be.  What is more important: our looks on the outside or who we really are?  Or are the superficial looks compensate for things we don’t have or work to evolve: our souls.

Are we at peace with our souls; I believe being at peace with oneself reflects as well on our outer looks.  It either gives us a look of serenity and peace or unhappiness and loneliness.  Are we afraid to let people see the real us or are we so void that we make up and dress up to look different to the world than we really feel? So many questions go through my mind when I watch all these magazines, programs on TV and Radio.  What about other qualities that are not physical?? What about our minds, our human traits, our abilities and skills. What is the reason behind our self confidence, how can we build our self confidence and communicate our characters and not only our looks.  

I, for one, believe that when one is not satisfied with their looks, one has to improve and work on it through any possible remedy whether plastic surgery or fillers. I use dermal fillers from time to time and it gives me personally a boost of self confidence that we are all in need of most of the time.  But I still work on myself, I try to mediate, void my life of sadness, stress and do some well being courses to relieve stress and increase my stamina.

Look at Michele Obama, the first lady of the USA, she is becoming an icon in fashion and looks.  It is not only her  looks alone, but her spirit too that puts her on top of the fashion world.
